The titanium implant is placed skillfully into your jawbone, creating your new tooth root. We use local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort during surgery. Over the next 3-6 months, the implant integrates with your bone to form a solid foundation, so a temporary tooth is fitted to protect your gum in this time.
Once your implant has fully healed and fused, your final crown or bridge is fitted on top. This is custom-made to blend with your existing teeth and look incredibly natural, completing your new smile!
We love helping our patients rediscover their confidence with lifelike, solid and predictable dental implants. If you’d like to fill the gap in your teeth and learn to love smiling again, get in touch with us today!

Small titanium screws are inserted into your jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth, with a natural looking crown or bridge fixed on top. Titanium is very well tolerated by the body, and fuses with the surrounding bone in your jaw to create a solid and long-lasting foundation.
Dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth or multiple missing teeth, giving you back the look, feel and full function of natural teeth and significantly improving your quality of life. You are able to eat and speak without the worry of your teeth slipping or moving, which can occur with other dental restorations, and can show your smile with pride.
Advanced techniques and very high quality implants used.
Honest, trustworthy and professional patient-focused dental care.
Clean, relaxing and comfortable practice environment.
Flexible appointment times available for your convenience.
Most people are suitable for dental implants, providing they are in good oral and general health. Implants are often the most suitable and preferred way to replace teeth that have been lost due to decay, gum disease, trauma, or that were never present. We will discuss your suitability for implant treatment further in your consultation appointment.
Dental implants exactly mimic the root of a natural tooth, making them a durable and solid foundation. No one will be able to tell that you have a dental implant fitted in your jawbone unless you choose to tell them. The crown or bridge fitted on top is custom made to blend seamlessly into your existing teeth and looks beautifully aesthetic and natural.
Dental implant treatment, from initial consultation to your final fixed crown or bridge, can take several months. The implant surgery is relatively quick, but the implant needs time to heal and fuse to your jawbone before your permanent teeth can be placed on top. We will fit temporary teeth to protect your gum while the implant heals. Your new smile will be worth the time!
We use local anaesthetic during your implant surgery to minimise your discomfort, so this won’t be painful. After your implant has been placed, you will likely feel some pain, but this is to be expected and can be managed with painkillers advised by your dentist. Implant surgery has minimal downtime, and you should be able to return to work the next day.
Tooth implants have the potential to last a lifetime if they are looked after and maintained properly. You need to make sure you brush and floss effectively and visit your dentist for your regular check ups. The crown or bridge placed on top of your implant may not last as long due to natural wear and tear, but can be replaced when needed.
The main alternatives to dental implants for restoring a missing tooth are dentures or bridges. These options are more affordable, but don’t have the same stability and aesthetics, and will likely not last as long. Dentures and bridges could also cause some decay and gum problems in the surrounding teeth, which does not occur with an implant.
